Torah Insights is a Torah study class in which we study the commentary of the weekly Parasha by the Sfat Emet (lit "the Language of Truth"), Reb Yehuda Aryeh Leib Alter mi Gur. Torah learning is much more than an intellectual endeavor or a religious one. It is an Art of Life. The goal of our class is to integrate Torah wisdom into everyday life. For each class, you will find: 1. Links to the opening song, class recording and source sheet. 2. Concrete practice instructions for meditation and for everyday life. Open to all, beginners and advanced alike. ABOUT THE COURSE This course will enable you to: - Connect to the cycles of Parashat HaShavuah throughout the year - Deepen your knowledge in Torah, but also Tanakh, Talmud, Kabbalah and Hassidut - Become intimate with the thought of the Sfat Emet, a profound Hasidic Master - Join a community of fellow Jewish spiritual practicionners who share your passion for discovering, deepening, and growing in understanding and in ethical wisdom. Join us through the principle of "terumah", voluntary participation. Choosing our own rate is a spiritual practice in and of itself. Select the rate that feels right and possible to you.
