Retreats
Reconnect with Jewish spirituality, oneself, the Shabbat and the world around us.
Mira Neshama invites you to meditation retreats throughout the year.
For millennia, Jewish mystics have practiced the art of contemplative retreat: hitbodedout (literally "self-isolation') consists of isolating oneself, alone in a room or in groups, in quiet places in nature, far from our daily occupations, to turn inward, and the divine.
Shabbat is the perfect time for a meditation retreat: a time of 'pause' - the literal meaning of 'shabbat' that one takes without work or creative activity, to find the art of being, and reconnect in all directions: to ourselves, to nature, to others, to the divine.
Join Mira for a Jewish spiritual retreat on Shabbat, an extended weekend or a transformative introspection in the light of Jewish wisdom.
"Taking a moment out of our daily occupations and familiar roles,

we have time to listen to our souls, our thoughts, and the whispering of the source of life that breathes through us"
